No idea why, but I'm really bothered by the fact that Goldenstar is attacking Shadowpelt and Venompaw. Technically, they have a right to say that the loner is none of their concerns, yet Coalpaw decides to be all righteous & heroic and attempt to protect the loner, therefore making her a resisting offender. So Shadowpelt and Venompaw attempt to strike her down for not only protecting a possible danger to the clans, but for breaking the warrior code (trespassing and hunting on their property) and what do they get for following the warrior code (#11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge any trespassing cats)? ANOTHER offender, that just so happens to also be the rival clan's leader attacking the two, obviously breaking and ignoring the warrior code (by trespassing another clan's territory) and attacking Shadowpelt and Venompaw just because they were doing what they were supposed to do for their clan.

I don't know, it just irks me. I get that Goldenstar is protecting his family, but doesn't the clan come first before family? If anything, the most righteous thing to do is to let the individual that broke the warrior code take their punishment. Yeesh, I wonder if the leader that appointed Goldenstar deputy knew of how willing Goldenstar is to break the warrior code and how family orientated he is..

Also, this is NOT to offend the person creating the comic. I just dislike some of the qualities of the characters enough to point them out.
